Friday Five (Friveday)

I want to be a little more consistent in my blogging. It's difficult because the inspirations for my articles are sporadic if anything. I may or may not having something to write on a daily or weekly basis. If I can't control my flow of ideas, maybe I can control the movies I watch.

Every week I'm going to list out five movies that I'll watch during the next week. At the end of the week on Friday I'll summarize, rate and rank the movies. This is a totally random process, some weeks will have a stellar selection of movies, others will be completely lame. There is no order to my chaos.

  1. I find blogging regularly very difficult. I'll be out with friends or family and an idea for a post hits me, and I think I'll remember it, but I rarely do. Or if I do remember it, it doesn't always have that same fire for me.

In regards to your five movies, I've only seen Schindler's List. I'm surprised it took me as long as it did to see it, but I'm glad I finally did. Truly a great movie. I bawled like a baby.

  2. Yeah, I know what you mean. Often times I'll be out and someone will say something and it'll make me think. I'll have this sudden rush of inspiration and think it would make such a good post. But soon, I'll realize that it's such an abstract idea or it won't have enough meat to it that I drop it as an idea. But sometimes there are things that stick and those are usually the things I write about.

I just finished Schindler's List and I agree it's a great movie. But who knows if it'll win top honors at Frivedays. You'll just have to stay tuned to find out.
